Foment del Treball Social Commitment Award for Torrons Vicens

With the Award in the Social Commitment category, the Jury will recognize Torrons Vicens for the great work he is doing through his “Torró Solidari de RAC1” initiative.

Since 2015, this project allocates 100% of the benefits obtained from the sale of this product to the investigation of rare pediatric diseases. It takes place at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona, which treats more than 15,000 children suffering from 1,050 different diseases, some of them very serious and limiting. This year the solidarity has added 220,400 euros which, together with the three previous editions, have meant 683,181 euros destined to the various lines that the Catalan hospital investigates through the RareCommons platform.
